Board of Directors Workshop

    1. Annual Meeting Discussion
    Bruce Clingan, Director/President
    20 minutes

    Discuss and authorize budget and date for annual meeting.

    Recommendation:

    • Hold Meeting at NTPRD Chiller on July 14 or 22
    • Run event similar to friendly
    • Nominal charge for members, free for members with over 15 hours of volunteer time since Jan 1
    • Invite Monday League and RiverScape participants after members have a chance to register at a discount.
    • Hold curling and social activities throughout the day.
      • Need to determine what the schedule will look like
    • Deb McCormick will be attending.  She has asked us to hold all member orders until this event to help her meet sales goals.
      • We also should do some promoting of her being there with Circle City, Cincinnati, Columbus and BG

    Vote required for authorization of budget (attached) and authorization of members meeting date change per by-laws

    2. Equipment Purchase Authorization

    10 minutes

    Board needs to authorize purchase of equipment from Thompson Rink Supply if we want to purchase additional items.  A second mop is being purchased for the friendly as well as some additional pebble heads.

    Additional purchases could include:

    • Measure
    • Biter Bar
    • Fiberstick tape (for lines)
